A U.S. Army carry team transfers the remains of my (OUR) friend Army 1st Lt. Robert N. Bennedsen, of Vashon, Wash., at Dover Air Force Base, Del., July 20, 2010. Bennedsen was assigned to 2nd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, Vilseck, Germany. He died July 18 in Qalat, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised explosive device.
