Director Jay Rowlands and crew pulled this ultra rare 1969 Dodge Charger 500 from the weeds of a friends collection and placed it in the background of the “speed parts delivery” scene.  This particular Charger 500 is an all numbers matching car (meaning original drivetrain and components that it rolled off the assembly line with) complete with 440, special dealer installed high performance aluminum 4 barrel intake manifold, Holley carb and factory headers. It is also a factory 727 auto trans with an 8-3/4 rear end.  Filming with the car lit a spark under the owners ass and soon after he had it running and on the road again.
